Job Description:

Software Engineer Sr in the EFVS product line:
·         Work as a member of a software engineering Integrated Product Team.
·         Develop and/ or modify real-time embedded software using C and RTOS.
·         Compose and present engineering status at technical interchange meetings and design reviews.
·         Support continuous process improvement, help to develop and improve processes to positively impact product quality, performance and increase productivity.
·         Understand, plan, and execute engineering design and development activities in accordance with SNC’s SEI-CMMI Maturity Level 3, ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100:2009 compliant processes and specific customer quality, cost and schedule requirements.

Candidate must have the following experience or capabilities:

·         Initial Job Description: Product Development: Experience with DO-178 compliant software development processes, methodologies and tools. Product running on VX Works System. Graphics experience with Open GL Required. Planning to take Prototype into a Defense Product in 12 Months.
·         Experience developing software using Green Hills Integrity or Wind River VxWorks real time OS and development tools. Microsoft Visual C/C++ also helpful.
·         Familiarity with Subversion version control system and LDRA, Klockwork, and Redmine software development support tools.
·         Experience with any of the following is a plus: digital signal processing, servo control systems, computational geometry, 3D computer graphics, image processing.
·         Experience with Matlab and/or Mathcad for behaviour modelling, simulation, and test data analysis.
·         Hands-on experience in hardware-software integration.
·         Familiarity working with Electrical / FPGA engineers and interfacing to FPGA devices.
·         Experience with DO-178 compliant software development processes, methodologies and tools.
·         Experience in full software development life cycle including involvement in the development of system/software requirements, architecture, specification, analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
·         At least 10 years of experience developing C/C++ real-time embedded software running on real-time operating systems.
·         B.S. Degree, or higher, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. U.S. citizen and must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
