Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job description:

Java and Hadoop developer

• 8+ years of experience with Java server side development

• 6+ years of experience working collaboratively on multi-person development teams

• 4+ years of Investment Banking industry experience

• 4+ years of experience working with front-office trade data

• 2+ years of experience acting as a development manager of a team of at least 4 people

• Experience working in an Agile-based development environment

• Experience with automated integration testing strategies

• Experience developing RESTful service

• Experience working with external project stakeholders

• Familiarity with Hadoop and Hadoop based tools including HBase, Flume, Spark, and SOLR
